Their stories remind us that God’s plans are always perfect, even when we cannot see the full picture.
The Story of the King and His SlaveThere was a king who doubted the goodness of God. He had a slave who was always joyful and unwavering in his trust, often saying, “My king, do not be discouraged. Everything God does is perfect, no mistakes!” One day, on a hunting trip, a wild animal attacked and the king lost a finger. Furious, he blamed God for this misfortune.His faithful slave responded, as always, “My king, everything God does is perfect.” The king, angry at such faith, threw the slave into prison.Soon after, the king went hunting again and was captured by a tribe who practiced human sacrifices. When Jonah finally obeyed, the city was spared from destruction. This story teaches us that God pursues us in mercy, even when we resist His will.
